13/ 14th June 2009 British Para Show Jumping Association
The BPSJA is organising another first  of its kind, bringing together both affiliated dressage and show jumping for Para Riders. The idea is to develop this into a Festival over two or more days in future years. Our aim is to bring together Para Riders from both disciplines with their supporters and Trainers, to share competition, education and social engagement - to have a good time!

The programme:

Saturday 13th - evening show jump Training with Judy Piper-Dadswell Approx cost £25 per horse/rider  for 1 hour. BBQ £5     Camping   FOC.
Judi is a well respected trainer and International Show Jumper (UKCC 3)

Sunday Morning - Affiliated Show Jumping Classes on out door rubber/sand surface. There will be an approx half hour opportunity for dressage riders to exercise in the Arenas before the start of the dressage

Sunday Afternoon - Affiliated Dressage

Sunday Evening - BBQ with 'post show' discussion, Camping.

The Facilities:

70m x 52m rubber covered competition arena

60m x 30m rubber covered warm up arena

Temporary stabling - easy, close lorry parking

Showers - disabled toilet - canteen - photographer

Note: Please enter both the jumping and the dressage in advance as early as possible so the Organiser can produce accurate start times. Dressage times will be available on this website from 8am Friday 12th June.

The course will be smooth and flowing set at the draft rules heights for Paras, Graded riders can jump any height bigger than their own grade but can not jump below their specified height unless riding HC.

Prize giving will be given at the end of the show jumping.

Class 2 Para SJ Open 65cm

Class 3 SJ Grade IV Max 75 cm  (B1) (Visually Impaired Blind)

Class 4 SJ Grade IV Max  75cm   (B2 & B3) (Visually Impaired)

Class 5 SJ Grade I  Max 75cm

Class 6 SJ Grade II  Max 85cm

Class 7 SJ Grade III Max 95cm

Class 7 Para SJ Open  1.05m

Minimum Speed  300m per minute
